Content and blog writer, researcher, designer, Ghost writer I am passionate about writing and I have a love for language and literature. Furthermore, I take interest in a very diverse range of topics and I am at my happiest when doing research into different fields. Part of the joy of blog writing is that it is always entertaining and educational. I write and do research to share knowledge and insights with all of the readers, but the greatest benefit for me is that I keep on exploring my world and learn new things daily. My background is as diverse as my interests. What my expertise in construction entails is a thorough knowledge of road building, steel construction and carpentry. I am always interested in new developments in the fields of civil engineering and structural design. Another field of interest is cooking and baking. As far removed from the world of civil engineering as it may seem, I am a keen chef and apart from having owned a restaurant, I did allot of catering for functions which is something that I still enjoy doing. The one thing that loosely keeps all my diverse interests tied together is my love for art and everything creative. Being as creative as possible in all that I do stems from my studies in fine art. Although I never managed to complete my bachelor's degree, it suffice to say that I was formally educated in art spanning a period of seven years. I still practice art in my free time. Furthermore, I am also a dedicated gardener, who enjoy cultivating my own fruit and vegetables. I have a particular interest in herbs and their culinary and medicinal uses. Photography, music, dance, theatrical performances, nature, traveling, health & fitness are just some of my other interests, not forgetting that reading and literature all hold special places among the many things in life that I find captivating.
