I am a native speaker of American English, with all its with idioms, expressions, and unpredictable language rules. I can find errors in spelling, grammar, word choice, and punctuation. I can make suggestions to improve clarity and wordiness and point out overused words and phrases. I can ensure consistency of style and even fact-check if desired. I am familiar with Chicago style. If you are not using a style guide, I will still ensure consistency within the document. "Editing" is quite a broad field. I do copyediting proofreading.
