I have written weekly op-ed columns for as many as six local small-town newspapers simultaneously.  I am also adept with slogans, humor, and attention-grabbing copy. My strength is in my ability to write creatively.  A number of years ago, I wrote a commercial as a freelance copywriter for a chicken restaurant in Mississippi.  It was to be used as a radio spot and went something like this: Voice of 1st man:  Did you hear about the deal they got over at XXX restaurant?  Voice of 2nd man:  No, what they got? Voice of 1st man:  They are selling a two piece meal with biscuits and two side items for only 1.99. Voice of 2nd man:  Sounds like a right-wing conspiracy to me. Voice of 1st man:  No, man, it's a CHICKEN wing conspiracy. The result of the ad was a huge increase in sales for the restaurant.
