I co-founded Myriad, Inc., an internal/external marketing company that provides copywriting and training services for small to midsize businesses. 17 years' experience in the hospitality industry culminated in Director of Marketing positions at The Peninsula Chicago and The Ritz-Carlton Cleveland. During my tenure as Director of Marketing I was responsible for the copywriting and editing associated with marketing plans, financial reports, sales collateral, newsletters, press releases and website content. My ability to write persuasive copy stems from my experience as a sales and marketing professional. Drawing upon fifteen years' of sales and marketing experience, my writing consistently answers the reader's unasked question, "So what?" After all, writing requires the author to provide information and address the reader's question, "Why is this important to me?"
