I am a corporate commercial legal counsel in India with over 12 years experience in advising and assisting various multinational companies, having worked with one of the top tier one law firms in the country. I have assisted clients with advisory on Indian laws with regard to business and contract laws. This has largely been in relation to their establishment and continuation of operations in India. The assistance rendered by me has included review of various forms of contracts, such as master services agreements, distributorship agreements, etc. I have also extensively assisted my clients with transactional work such as in cases of mergers, acquisitions and joint ventures. In this regard, apart from preparation of joint venture agreements, shareholders' agreements, share purchase agreements, I have been involved in advise and preparation or review of various ancillary documents with regard to the transactions. Commercial real estate law has been a niche area of my practice and I have been involved in assisting some of the largest multinational corporations in India with regard to their real estate requirements. This has involved assisting my clients with the due diligence of the commercial properties intended to be leased or bought in addition to assisting with the preparation of documentation for the transactions.
