The team will create a complete poultry business plan (broilers, layers, or turkeys) that will greatly impress the loan officer so that you will get the financing so that your business will be more successful. If you have completed the cash flow projection, I can produce the description which is commonly called the business plan. To produce a complete business plan, I ask you for answers to the questions on about 16 pages. The answers will make it possible to write the detailed description and create the 5-year weekly cash flow projection. Data (i.e. the summary for 4 quarters and then 4 years) from the cash flow projection will be part of the description which will show debt servicing. The parts of the description will include, at least, these parts: executive summary, marketing, key management, labor sources, sources of utilities, taxes, government policies, sources of supplies, equipment, technical service, veterinarian services, and nutritional services, SWOT analysis, location of the business, capital investment from exiting operation, existing facilities and land. The cash flow projection will include, at least, these parts: growing parents, adult parents, hatchery, commercial growing, feed production, slaughter, processing (basic and further) marketing, repair and maintenance, transportation, and overhead (includes loan servicing). OTHER FEATURES Financial statements can be provided. “What if” scenarios are offered. The projection will show how much loan is necessary and when for non-operating capital investments (construction and equipment) and operating capital (i.e. feed, labor, chicks, utilities) by looking at the maximum negative cash number on the bottom line. The observer will also see when the loan has been paid in full.
