I have enjoyed an extensive career (20+ years) in the Professional Beauty Industry with a strong focus on hair color, and skin care/esthetics). My core competencies are sales, marketing, strategic planning, and education/training. I am detail oriented and a creative problem solver with strong oral and written communication skills. As a long standing citizen of the Professional Beauty Industry I have established strong, long standing, trusted relationships with prominent distributors, stylists, hair colorists, estheticians and manufactures both domestically and internationally.
As part of my previous (prior to 1997) experience, I oversaw 6 departments (marketing, training and education, art/creative, purchasing, PR, new product concepts). I managed 60 full time employees and 300 part time trainer/educators
In 1997 I started my own sales and marketing consulting company that has offered companies services that are focused on establishing/launching new brands to Professional Beauty Distributors, salons, spas and select retailers. These services include; distribution development, marketing, strategic planning, collateral material development, training/protocol development, sales procurement and sales training. I have been able to maintain strong customer relationships across all channels.
