I have worked in fashion since 2005, but been fascinated by it since childhood. In my professional tenure, I began with understanding more about international brands and how they occupy and dictate mainstream fashion. Since 2012, I have focused more on slow, thoughtful and intentional design in my outlook and practices, whether it is working on creative direction for urban nascent brands from around the world, as well as travelling through the villages of India to work on handmade craft for my own labour of love. The diverse scope of my work keeps me motivated. I have a strong affinity for sustainable business practices and am keen to collaborate with multi-disciplinary designers with the same soul and passion for design. My aim is to provide well-designed products and creative strategy for brands that are away from the beaten path; who want to embrace new ways of thinking in the fashion and lifestyle industry.
