I've been editing videos of various types for myself and friends for about 10 yrs and I'm looking to finally make a job of it. I've made music videos, experimental films, various styles of short films, simple photo slideshows, Youtube series', commercials(parody and real). I have always edited using Pinnacle Studios for Windows but I am currently trying to become more proficient in Adobe Premier because that seems to be the industry standard.
