Writer/editor for corporate newsletters, Health Unit publications, newspapers. Created charts, graphs, and coordinated editing of Annual Report for Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan. Led a staff of two reporters, one photographer, several freelance writers and columnists at a twice-weekly community paper and bimonthly business magazine. Implemented readership participation strategies at my community newspaper including weekly book reviews and children's story contests, which resulted in increased readership and promotion of literacy issues in the North (British Columbia). Managed special events coordinated with local non-profit organizations. Wrote over 100 columns, concert, theatre and book reviews.
