I'm a professional screenwriter and veteran development executive / story consultant.
I have been hired to write or rewrite more than half a dozen projects, and have had several of my spec scripts optioned. Several of these projects have been produced.
I'm comfortable working on assignment and on a deadline. When I am brought on-board to work on a project, I pride myself on bringing my screenwriting knowledge, creativity, talent and story sense to the table, without ever losing sight of the producer's vision and intent.
I have a degree in film and understand all aspects of the craft screenwriting in particular and storytelling in general. As a story consultant, I've worked with over a hundred screenwriters, producers, novelists and non fiction writers providing craft education and/or story development input. Having spent several years working as a development executive, I also understand the realities of the marketplace - what it takes to attract talent, investors, and audiences
