Creative Writing

I am a professional journalist with an extraordinary work ethic who is capable of meeting your writing/editing/PR needs in a creative, timely, agreeable manner. My writing and editing career, which has spanned more than 25 years, has included international magazines, daily newspapers, and corporate advertising, marketing, web site content and press releases. My most recent writing project (April-June 2007) was a 10-week series for the Kalamazoo Gazette (Kalamazoo, Michigan's daily newspaper) which appeared on the front page of the travel section each week. As a crew member on a 38-foot catamaran, delivering her from Aruba to San Diego, California, I emailed weekly stories and photos to the paper. I'm proud to say the response was wonderful, and as a result I've been given more assignments for the paper and have been asked to speak at various functions throughout Michigan. Other careers along the way include: certified Lamaze instructor; cardiovascular fitness instructor for
