I have been editing papers, stories and academic writing for 7-8 years. In high school, I was already editing graduate papers and academic proposals for students. Now, I still edit graduate level, and PhD level work on a regular basis. I also regularly edit creative work, including poems, stories, and books. I have consistently provided editing advice and guidance to many writers for 4 years, and have published a story myself. My strengths is in my abilities as a writer. As a passionate writer myself, I have experience and direct knowledge of the process that a writer goes through, making me a better choice than many editors, who are not necessarily writers themselves. In addition, I have experience outside of the realm of editing creative work, inside the world of academic and technical writing. This gives me an invaluable dual skill set.
