My diverse background has enhanced my ability to produce creative and well-written work that appeals to various targeted audiences. I have written Newsletter copy for groups ranging from Human Resources Managers to Parents' Organizations. The project of which I am the proudest is a Recruitment Newsletter that I did which was aimed at increasing parental involvement in an After-School Program for Learning Disabled students in a rural Southern area. While I believed that my work would produce positive results, I was delighted when the number of volunteers increased from two to forty-nine by the third monthly publication. One of my most enjoyable projects was writing the biographies of several nursing home residents. The residents shared their life stories with me over a period of four weeks, afterwards which I wrote the individual biographies. This collection is housed by the local library and the nursing home library. Perhaps the most satisfying part about completing this project
