Role & Responsibilities: • Implement strategies for gathering, reviewing and analyzing data requirements. • Prioritize requirements and create conceptual prototypes and mock-ups. • Data Cleansing, Quality Verification and loading into staging area (Database and Cloud). • Development of ETL jobs and sequences. • Pre-& Post Production support to the business users and IT for UAT defect closure (Functional and Non-Functional). • Devise strategies for change management to serve business need. • Creation of tasks / User Stories and tracking the deliverables in IBM Rational Team Concert tool. • Participating in daily stand-ups calls and status reporting in Scrum calls. • Development of BI Reports as per requirements. • Writing Unix Sell Scripts and calling the scripts from ETL Jobs. • Development of ETL Jobs from the existing ELT jobs and optimization of ETL jobs by implementing the Push Down Optimization- In Build capabilities of DataStage Engine to improve the execution time of the ETL Batch. • Performance optimisation of the ETL jobs to improve the execution time of Daily Batch of ETL jobs. • Performance tuning of IBM DataStage IIS Engine with the administration team. • Reverse Engineering of ELT jobs and developed data mapping. • Performing analytics/dataquality on the in-scope data using Python for development of Streams.
