The Data Entry Specialist is responsible for entering data manually into a system, which may include entering data from printed material or from scanned documents.

Responsibilities:

  1. Entering data manually into a system, including data from printed material or scanned documents

  2. Exercising discretion and judgment to identify and correct errors in the database to ensure accuracy of information

  3. Ensuring that all database records are maintained in accordance with established standards

  4. Maintaining confidentiality of all information

  5. Complying with organizational policies and procedures

    The Data Entry Clerk is responsible for entering and verifying data in a variety of systems. This includes a wide range of tasks, such as maintaining data integrity, inputting data into various systems, and managing the flow of information. The Data Entry Clerk will work with a variety of data sources and formats, including spreadsheets, databases, and other files.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Entering new customer information into the system

    2. Reviewing customer data to ensure accuracy

    3. Updating customer account information as needed

    4. Entering new/updated products into the system

    5. Inputting product inventory data to the database     - Uploading images to the system for products or marketing purposes

    6. Entering vendor invoices into system for processing

    7. Maintaining database integrity by running regular database maintenance scripts on all tables and indexes as required.

    8. Working with IT departments to install software updates that may affect database functionality
