Data Entry Specialist & Transcriber

My core skills are data entry, transcription, and proofreading. I enjoy writing in various settings from formal business white papers for Blue Chip companies to creative children's picture books and young adults' fiction during my personal time. In all instances, I take my writing very seriously, making sure that my writing is clear, tailored to the right audience, and with a high degree of accuracy.

I’m pedantic when it comes to the elimination of typos, grammatical or spelling errors, and other elements relating to poor data quality. This stems from my early career experience where I built and managed databases and had to do investigations into why my queries/searches did not return the results I was expecting (e.g. due to unexpected character spaces, duplicate records, incomplete addresses, etc.).

I am highly driven to meet target deadlines, well organized, and have great interpersonal and communication skills. I’m also very resourceful (if there is an easier way to do something, I’ll usually find it), with a high level of competence and expertise in many MS Office applications. I hope to add value to your company soon!
