I'm a 14-yr Oracle DBA with experience in Oracle 7/8i/9i/10g/11g. My work experiences were gained from a global IT consulting company and a semiconductor manufacturing company, working as a Senior Oracle DBA and Team Lead for the Systems Admin Group. I handled 60+ test and production databases for 6 regional sites, performing issue resolution and 24x7 second-line escalation support. I also interfaced with clients and managers for project implementations and ramp-ups.My other skill set includes performance tuning/diagnostics, RMAN backup and restores, RAC/VMware installation, Oracle Streams and GoldenGate replication, and writing technical documentation. I also work with other non-Oracle databases such as MySQL, MS-SQLServer, MS-Access and PostGreSQL.The databases I work with are hosted in Windows, Unix, and Linux platforms. I am also capable of shell scripting and PL/SQL coding as part of my DBA work.
