I am a self-motivated individual who has been working in the Computer industry for the past 6 years. I excel at working under pressure and with little direction. I work best in a solitary fashion with little contact, although I do gain benefit from occasional discussion and pair programming. Throughout my career, I have been thrown in the deep end when it comes to new tools, new applications and new languages, and I have adapted swiftly and produced good work. Every one of my jobs has used different tools, only a few of which I had experience with through my studies. My main areas of experience are C++ and Python in creating industrial software. I have also been involved in bringing applications to the web in innovative ways, using standard web tools. My main tasks, however, have usually involved breaking new ground for the company for which I was working - investigating and implementing new solutions to old or new problems.
