Document Scanning Project - I was tasked with rewriting a component in TSQL due to concurrency and consistency issue in the initial VB application. The procedure moves de-normalised data out of an OLTP database into a normalised Reporting database (565 million records) in real-time.Management Information Dashboard (500 million records) - One of the first tasks I undertook on this project was to review poor performance pulling data from various distributed source systems into the central report database. Through detailed analysis I was able to identify the root cause. I optimised the data retrieval components and split the database into multiple smaller 'Series' databases. The streamlining improved 'reporting' and 'load' times significantly.Designed and developed an ETL package (SSIS) to load student/provider work experience data.
