Developed monitoring agents that connects to the EMC Symmetrix box to monitor EMC Symmetrix's performance and identify all the bottlenecks in the EMC System. The agent currently runs Solaris, NT, and HP-UX. Developed an OLE-DB consumer application that monitors SQL Server 2000 database for performance statistics and provide diagnostics to SQL Server 2000 DBA. Developed a middle tier layer based in COM technology to send/receive performance data to the Enterprise Monitoring tool. Using COM Event source-sink to capture COM events/notification of data arrival. Developed a DB2 discovery application that dynamically discovers all DB2 UDB instance and also retrieve connectivity and process availability information from DB2 using IBM's supplied API set.
