Long-term MS Windows-based software architechture/design/development experience progressing from development of Gupta "SQLWindows" client-server applications to using Microsoft's DNA architecture with COM/DCOM/COM+, Visual Basic 6.0,Visual Interdev, and ASP, to using the .NET architecture (including ASP.NET, remoting, web services), with both Visual Basic.NET and C#.Net. Very comfortable with XML, ADO, ADO.NET, ODBC, and OLEDB. I have concentrated heavily on database design and optimization of data access/queries/stored procedures using Microsoft SQL Server 2000. I am very experienced with using Data Transformation Services for a myriad of tasks including ETL and data migrations and conversions.
