I am a free-lance programmer and web developer in Florence, Italy. I am
originally from California and am a mother-tongue English speaker.
I am mainly a web application developer, capable of handling almost every
aspect of the process, from graphic design, to front end interface design
and implementation to back-end architecture design and implementation.
Past experience includes:
- Many years experience as project manager of high profile development
projects funded by the European Union -- these projects all had to do
with web technologies (mostly building portals and web applications)
- Expert knowledge in PHP, Perl, Javascript, Java, C/C++ and a growing
knowledge of Ruby. Expert knowledge of MySQL and PostgreSQL database
technologies.
I am available for collaboration on software development, or to manage
the development
of a project or components on my own.
