I have developed numerous applications using a combination of Microsoft Technologies to streamline and automate business systems and rules. My applications have been sold to large companies. Several applications are still in use today including an internet commerce application with a shopping cart and credit card acceptance. Once the order is paid for, the application gathers information from hundreds of sources comprising millions of records and terabytes of data. The information is compiled into a comprehensive report with maps and is automatically emailed to the client within 5 to 10 minutes. A human never touches the order. I have a business background, so I look at what should be done vs. what can be done. Features need to be justified by real world savings. I understand ROI. I have a full time job.
