I was project manager for an EDI system implementation for a $100 million transportation company. This project lasted 9 months and processed approximently $100,000 of transactions per week. As a result of this project, my employer realized $50,000 / year in tangible cost savings. The company also saved an undetermined amount in decreased employee workload.
My role was to determine the project requirements, design and develop the software required. I was also responsible for ensuring that the requirements of the different stakeholder groups were met.
