Hi,

I am a Microsoft BI Architect with total 20 years of IT develoment experience with last 12 years being as a Microsoft BI Data Engineer/Architect working with building Azure Datawarehouse solutions using Synapse and Serverless pools and Python notebooks.

I am also invovled in Azure development of modern Data Lakehouse using Azure Services(Synapse,Logic Apps,Parquet,Delta, Blobs containers,SQl Azure Datawarehouse).

The architecture involves standard Bronze,Silver,Gold layers with no Serverless databases involved.

Currently I am responsible for the entire Inhouse development of BI solution where we have 15 cubes and around 50+ SSIS packages and 20+ SSRS reports and BI Report Portal. 

As an Architect it’s is always important to meet with the Business Units to understand their problems and how we can help them out with new datamodels/Reports which can help them get an insight into the interested data(Sales/Production/Purchase/EBITA numbers) which can ease the decision making process.

We read data from around 10 different data sources like Dynamics AX,Sharepoint List, O365 Sharepoint list, Compello, Excel files etc.

I am currently working on upgrading the entire BI solution to SQL Server 2016 version as there are many new BI features which can help speed up the current solution.

I have around 15 years of Integration experience and have integrated 50+ products using SSIS/BizTalk Server.
