I am a versatile and unique design consultant with skills that bridge architecture, fabrication, and furniture design. I have eleven years of professional experience, including five plus in architectural practice and six plus in the production of architectural features, furniture, and cabinetry. I am new to Guru, and excited to bring in new projects to my design practice on this platform. Below are examples of the services I provide to my clients and collaborators. -Design of custom furniture and architectural elements I have worked in residential, institutional and commercial markets for firms in San Francisco, New York City and Los Angeles. My work encompasses all phases from programming to construction administration to installation of architectural features on site. I have managed several single-family residential projects from initial design phases through construction. While I have experience in a traditional architectural role, my greatest strength is my understanding of the human-scale elements that define the experience of spaces. Through work in a luxury market cabinetry company, I have an in-depth knowledge of the design, integration and detailing of cabinetry and specialized millwork. I have designed and executed many architectural features, including doorways, stairs, screens, guardrails and other decorative components. With two and half years in a custom commercial furniture company, I have designed custom communal tables, built-in seating, and large architectural screen walls.
