You want to get it published, but before you hire someone to edit your work on the sentence-level, you need someone to make sure that your work is unified, coherent, and effective. You need a professional. As a developmental editor, I will read through your entire manuscript and give you feedback on improving the plot structure, character development, descriptive language, dialogue, action sequences, and suspense-building. We will work together to make sure that your narrator and characters have unique voices, that your story hooks the readers from the start and keeps their attention, and that the ending leaves your readers satisfied. We will create timelines and character/location trackers to make sure that everything in your book makes sense. If your text is nonfiction, then we will work on developing your ideas fully, creating unity and cohesion, using transitions, and crafting powerful introductions and conclusions. My rates are $10/hour or $0.01/word.
