I have wanted to be a writer my whole life. After I left my first husband and entered a Battered Women's shelter in 1999, I started writing again. I won the 2004 William Paton essay contest and have been continuing writing about my experience, to inspire other victim's to get out, alive. I have varied interests that also include the paranormal and psychiatric issues as well.
