Hello! My name is Brett and an experienced drafter and designer. I have been in the industry for 9 years. I have worked in the gas, oil, chemical, automotive and manufacturing industries. I went to vocational school to be a welder before I transitioned into more of the engineering and design side of things. I've worked for the last 6 years closely with tool makers and machinists to produce machine parts as well and tool and die components. As a way of "tough love", everything I designed, the machinist had me make the part. This is a great way to learn not only how to make the part but how to design with the production person in mind. I am currently a project engineer for an integrator specializing in steel structures, lifting devices and ergonomic solutions for assembly lines and manufacturing plants. I am in the process of getting my PMP so I can transition into more of a project management role so this freelance design is my way of getting the design bug out and make some play money to buy hiking and camping gear. This is not my main source of income so I will be extremely reasonable on prices as I am doing this as a hobby. I look forward to designing or laying out whatever you have have in mind!
