International ECD Trainer (Early Childhood Development, Age: (Infants, Toddlers, and Preschoolers) Pakistan (South Region), Afghanistan and Tajikistan.
Main Responsibilities:
- Plan, design and conduct refresher courses for Parental Educators, ECD teachers and project coordinators in Pakistan, Afghanistan and Tajikistan.
- ECD Curriculum Developer for teachers and Parents
- Initiated Mobile ECD Centre to educate parents and families of 16 villages in Wakhan, Afghanistan in 2017
- Initiated Mobile ECD (parental resource Centres) in 20 colonies in Sindh Pakistan in 2018-2019
- Develop Zero to Three program contents for Agah Walidain-Informaed Parents ECD program for Afghanistan and Tajikistan in 2017.
- Educate, facilitate and supervise Academic Coordinators, Family Support Motivators and teachers in the areas of early childhood development and parenting by sharing one article on monthly bases on Health and Nutrition, Child Rights and safety, Age wise developmental Milestones etc.
- Development of plans for various sessions includes; newly Married Couples, Mothers, Pregnant mothers, Fathers, Grandparents in Agah Walidain Centers (RF core and Community based and Mobile ECD) in Karachi, Thatha and Punjab. Support FSMs in Conducting sessions for mothers, pregnant mothers, fathers, grandmothers and the communities.
- Create year International and national event calendar with teachers and volunteers, and make sure it is implemented
- Identify the venues for establishing the new AW-IP Center. Laision and seek advice from Ismaili Council for better delivery of RF programme to Community.
- Collect and report basic information on a consolidated survey and observational tools on monthly bases
- In-place the formative assessment process to ensure the learning progress of children
- Develop academic action plans in consultation with the PM ECD for AW-IP programme on monthly bases
- Assist Academic Coordinators, Family Support Motivators in developing weekly based academic planners
- Assist and facilitate Academic Coordinators in conducting sessions, workshops and training courses
- Assist Academic Coordinators, teachers and FSMs in organizing community based events and celebrations
- Ensure smooth implementation curriculum in AW-IP centres
- Arrange sessions for PCs, FSMs and teachers on disaster management bi annual
- Ensure field visits to all centres including community based initiatives
- Produce reports and maintain academic records
