R&D for us means MANY years into the future and working with exponential ideas and technologies ! (Business Plan) Revenue models will be discovered as the industry grows but we strongly believe there is a fundamental change on how content is distributed. The lack of physical distribution and need of intermediaries will lead to a market based on the App Store model, where people would pay for small pieces of content at a fair price with an easy payment method, like you do with apps in Apple or Google stores. There will be content aggregators, such as Netflix or Steam, that will offer virtual reality experiences within their respective catalogs (note that one it’s an audiovisual platform and the other one a game distribution platform, allowing VR content to reach broader audiences). Eventually, traditional VODs and TV Networks will also offer VR content. Additionally, traditional content (non VR) would be produced along with the main VR content to be distributed in traditional platforms (like, say, a spin off webserie to be hosted on youtube, or a book that expands the story, to be released on Amazon, or any other kind of content). Our content will be as agnostic as possible and live in every possible platform for every possible piece of hardware.
