As an editor, I have worked on a number of different assignments. This includes simple articles, blog posts, fiction/non-fiction novels, and even screenplays. My biggest concern as an editor is making sure that the writer doesn't lose their voice in the changes that I make. I like to do more than just correct spelling and grammar errors. From my own experiences working with editors, I know how important it is to receive feedback on the work, so whenever I edit I also try to offer a thoughtful analysis. Whenever I work with a client, the price I quote is for the final product. I'm not the type of editor who tries to charge per draft or anything like that.
