As an editor, I am comfortable working with fiction and nonfiction, and have worked on a wide of array of projects, from novels and memoirs to textbooks and how-to guides. My fee is based on the number of words in your manuscript, and I edit for grammar, spelling, punctuation, word choice, flow, and clarity. For the same rate, I also make margin notes on bigger picture things like plot holes, character arcs, voice, and pacing, but if you are not interested in this sort of feedback, I do not have to include it.
