I take pre-existing footage that has already been filmed and then, by paying attention to the story, edit the film or movie you want. Sometimes editors focus on the flair, the pizazz, but sometimes that's not needed. Sometimes the best edit is when you don't. Use the longer takes instead of the 20 different camera angles. It's whatever the story calls for me to do.
