Draft plans and detailed drawings for electrical installations. Draw maps, diagrams and profiles. Review rough sketches, drawings, specifications, and other engineering data received form electrical engineer to ensure that they conform to design concepts. Finish and duplicate drawings and documentation packages, according to required mediums and specifications for reproduction, using blueprinting, photography, or other duplicating methods. ? Calculating voltage drops, Cable sizes, Lighting lux levels and preparing Panel board load schedules. ? Explain drawings to erectors or electrical teams and provide adjustments as necessary. ? Supervise and train other technicians and draftsmen. ? Determine quantity of required material and enter figures o materials lists. ? Produce drawings using computer assisted drafting systems (CAD) ? Revise the shop drawings whenever required.
