My principal research interests are in the field of data analysis, prediction, Machine learning algorithms like Support Vector Machine, Relevance Vector Machine in the arena of Biomedical Signal processing (Analysis of ECG, EEG signals, Brain waves) and also in Speech signal processing using open source software (Octave, Scilab). I have implemented projects based on Hilbert-Huang Transform, Multivariate Empirical Mode Decomposition for three phase voltage signals, Least Mean Square based Adaptive filter for ECG. Presently, I am implementing projects on Electroencephalogram (EEG) based epilepsy detection using Fast Hilbert Transform, Konkani (a nasal language) speech recognition system using an open source software called Octave/ Scilab.
