Primary contact for Project Lead Engineering interface established in the preliminary design phase and maintained through project completion. Plan, schedule and perform engineering design and reviews for completion of project Adhere to project budget and schedules. Monitor project status and performance of own work as well as assigned design engineers. Provide design oversight for all engineering efforts for interior completions in accordance with aircraft manufacturer guidelines and engineering best practices. Interface with structural, mechanical systems, interior, avionics and electrical design engineers to ensure certifiable designs in support of interior modifications supplemental type certificates for large transport category aircraft. Provide engineering liaison support; independently make decisions concerning engineering/production discrepancies and successfully resolve fit, form, and function issues while understanding the limitations of manufacturing and methods.
