I have a Master's Degree in English Linguistics and a Bachelor's Degree in English Language and Literature from Top 5 Universities in China. At present, I am doing my PhD in Cognitive Linguistics in Germany. As a native speaker of Mandarin Chinese, I am also proficient in English. In 2012, I took IELTS (International English Language Testing System) and got 8.0, equivalent to 115 in TOEFL ibt, which is the required level of English to attend graduate programs in Cambridge and Oxford. I am also very familiar with business and financial English. In 2009, I received Cambridge Business English Certificate (Higher) with merit. Applying linguistic theories and models into translation practices is my passion. I passed the China Accreditation Test for Translators and Interpreters in 2010 and by now have accumulated years of experience in English-Chinese and Chinese-English translation.
