I am graduate engineer educated in my country Kenya. Kenya is a former colony of Britain and as such, English is the main official language for business, governance instruction in schools. In addition to English, the other official language spoken in Kenya as well as the wider East African region is Swahili. Swahili is in fact the choice language for social communication for the majority of citizens, and its used more widely by all strata of the population irrespective of their social or academic standing.

Given the language dynamics in this country and the wider region, i wish to emphasise that the translation of one language to the other is a skill that offers an avenue to reach a very large population in the region. I am fluent in both languages having studied up to graduate level with English as the language of instruction. i also studied Swahili as a subject up to O level of education (Similar to Senior Secondary Level). I can therefore translate both languages in verbal or written form.
