Thank you for your interest, My name is Ronnie Dukes and I am an illustrator and painter. My work stems from passion. This is what I want to jump off the page at my viewer. I am able to translate ideas in a fun, provoking and exiting way. As an exhibiting painter in New York City I am always experimenting with various ways to tell a story with visuals. Recently I was art director for films for Columbia University MFA film program. One of my most essential duties was to sit in on brainstorming sessions with director and asses tone, emotion and the overall look of the film. Most of the time my depictions were clearer than the director expected which resulted in a smooth, on schedule film shoot and a great film. I arrived in NYC from the Midwest in 2001 with a degree in Computer Animation. Until that time my experience consisted of broadcast motion graphics for non profit organizations and universities.
