Pay rate is 5 cents (USD) per word (negotiable, I can charge less depending on the novel's predicted word count; for a 100-200K word novel, I'd charge 2 cents per word). As I'm living in Brazil, the low pay is not due to a lack of confidence in my skills, but due to currency exchange making this a good deal for everyone. Writing and reading have been my hobby since I was young, and so, I can also serve as a critic who can provide helpful feedback on the quality of your story, as well as a variety of ways to improve it. You will have, of course, the freedom to reject any creative aid and follow the original plan you already had. The final say on how the story goes will always be the head of the project. I have completed this type of work before, however, due to contractual reasons, I cannot disclose much about it. My strengths as a writer: Writing Technique (Descriptors, paragraphs, style, show-don't-tell, passage of time, dialogue, story structure, pacing, and organization), Story Development (Characters, plot, world-building), and I can also offer my general knowledge (Geopolitics, socio-psychology, personality types, and body-language). My weaknesses as a writer: Occasional mistakes of grammar or misspelling may go unnoticed, by accident, or inattention. A professional editor is always recommended once the work is done either way. Maths, biology, physics, and chemistry are also topics I'm not very knowledgeable about. Willing to work with almost any genre. Exceptions are erotica and humor. I take about a week to write 5-10K words, depending on what I'm writing. Quality above quantity I say. What I'll need to work efficiently: a plan. I'll need a file of the plotline you want to follow. What happens in each scene, what pieces of dialogue you have in mind, a defined beginning, middle, and end. It can be as simplified and raw as possible, as long as I know what's supposed to happen. I'll also ask several questions about your world and your characters so I can understand how to write them, and I'll poke and prod the general veracity of the events unfolding and the characters' motivations. I ask for your patience, as I need to understand the small details so we can keep rewriters and edits to a minimum. It'll make my job much easier.
