The financial statement preparation service is for you to have current information on the financial standing of your business and to help you make decisions accordingly. The statements consist of the balance sheet and income statement. The balance sheet is a financial snapshot of your business at a given date. It lists your assets, liabilities and retained earnings. The income statement lists your income, costs of sales or goods sold, gross profit, expenses and net income or loss over a period of time. I will discuss the statements with you so that you have the "big picture." I recommend that we do a trend analysis of statements over time, three years or more and perform comparisons with industry averages.
