According to the news of IHA, teams were sent to the region due to the fire that broke out in the grassy area near Güzelhisar District of Aliağa district. Izmir Regional Directorate of Forestry teams respond to the flames with a helicopter from the air and 8 sprinklers from the land, while the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality firefighters also provide support. While the fire in Aliağa was surrounded, it was reported that the works were going well.

The fire in Bayındır district, on the other hand, occurred in the maquis area near Çınardibi District. 2 planes and 1 helicopter belonging to İzmir Regional Directorate of Forestry are responding to the fire from the air, 8 water tanks and 2 water tankers are intervening by land. It was reported that this fire was also stopped. Crews continue to work to get the flames under control.
