I attended The University of Colorado as a fine arts major with a teaching certificate and a minor in advertising. I graduated in 1994 with a BFA in oil painting and a minor in Asian Art History. I am proficient in Quark Xpress, Illustrator, Photoshop, Painter, Freehand, and Dreamweaver in both Mac and PC platforms. With twelve plus years experience as a graphic designer, I started by working as a painter for French sculptor Daniel Monfort while pursuing a masters degree in Psychology at The University of Colorado. I was a volunteer for Rape Crisis during this period for Boulder County. When I moved to Maine in 1995, I worked as a graphic designer for high end interior designers. Some of my work was on sitcom sets such as "Fraiser" and "Will and Grace." While working full time as a graphic designer, I also worked part time in the photography department of The Bangor Daily News and as a crisis counselor for Crisis Response meeting mentally ill clients in settings such as hospital and ja
