Fowles: 'The spark of competition'

$5/hr Starting at $25

The Williams team went through a transitional period after several seasons of underperformance, and partly from that point, Fowles joined as team manager from Yost Capito.

Fowles, who used to head strategy at Mercedes, believes Williams is already on the right track.

Williams finished last in the last season, its fourth season in which it occupied this position over the past six seasons, but after the recent administrative adjustments, it seems that the team's veins have been filled with new blood.

“The best word to describe the situation is 'sparking competition,'” Fowles said.

"It's really great to see her. We're really on a path that we see as taking us forward."

He continued, "It is clear that the team went through a very difficult winter and harsh previous seasons. But they are able to see the light at the end of the tunnel."

On the other hand, Fowles made it clear that he would take his time to arrange the centers of responsibility in the team, with the aim of determining the most appropriate structure to move forward.

"A Formula One car consists of 15,000 components that have to be built and put together in just a few weeks," said Fowles.

And he continued, "In order to complete this task, we need complete planning for the entire organization and this is what we do."

He continued, "Especially after the expenditure ceiling, it is necessary to be efficient, which means the availability of financial resources to develop the car later."
