I am a British/Saudi artist and illustrator based in London. After completing a BA in Fine Arts and Craft at Doncaster College, I decided to go on and do an MA in Illustration at The CASS School of Design. Mental health is something I feel strongly about and I based my MA project around it. I explored different aspects of mental illness, with an emphasis on depression. The final project was about how to use illustration to better communicate the excising mental health services and networks in Tower Hamlets in London. The approach I take to my work is usually lighthearted, humorous but sometimes with a slightly dark edge. Watercolors, pencil and pen tend to be my medium of choice but I do sometimes dabble on Photoshop (although very rarely).
