I have been a paralegal since 2002. I graduated from an ABA approved paralegal college a nd I have sat for the CLA exam. I started out as a Court runner back in 2001 while finishing my degree. I worked hard and volunteered for extra responsibility and difficult tasks when opportunities presented themselves. Eventually I not only learned insurance defense from the first firm I worked for, I also temped at a Trust and Estate firm before working for a Social Security Disability firm. Where I became Sr. Assistant to the Social Security Disability Representative and trained two new assistants. I did intake, communicated with clients, went over and obtained medical records. Handled cases from intake to hearing and Appeals Council. I began to work as a freelance paralegal and virtual assistant in 2010 after the recession. As an experienced paralegal with contract experience, I worked for a few companies to create internet business contracts. One including percentage of partnership for each block of time partnership continued. I also did contract freelance paralegal work for attorneys in several States throughout the Country. Including Banjruptcy work, Quiet Titles as well as assisting a Florida attorney on Appellant case regard divorce and various monetary savings. I also did freelance work for local divorce attorney. My background experience expanded as I was hired by two companies to help with privacy policies, terms and conditions, etc. Small business work also included being a Virtual Office Assistant for a start-up mobile app development company in California where I was on call 24/7, creating presentations for Venture Capitalists. I also discovered a journal allowing mobile app development company owner to memorialize with text, picture and video. I assisted him in memorializing while transcribing book dictated me. For the owner of the mobile app development company, I preformed any and all tasks an executive assistant would perform just as if they worked in a brick and mortar offices in the same State.
