Looking back on a very fulfilling personal history, everything I've done professionally involved writing. As an Arts Center Director there were promotional/ membership campaigns, press releases, grant narratives, and blogs about how special our offerings were that needed to be written. As a Concert Promoter I had to persuade a thousand people at a time to attend our special shows, and remind them how exciting each show was. As an Occupational Therapy Evaluator I wrote literally thousands of comprehensive reports that spoke clearly about the young children who were being reviewed for special services (resulting in my first published book on Amazon), and made the ordeal easier for parents to understand. I've written health and education articles for ezines and provided written consult services for preschool classrooms in NYC. More recently I have been writing magazine articles covering topics of local interest, with an eye towards the city's history as I remember it. My first novel has just been published. I can write with opinion, with attitude, or with an impartial, well-researched voice about an assigned topic.
