The US has reached a deal with French cement company Lafarge, which is accused of financing ISIS, for $687 million. The company will pay a fine of $90 million.
In the case in the USA, French cement giant Lafarge accepted the accusations that it supported the terrorist organization DAESH by keeping a factory running in Syria.

In today's lawsuit, the company, which has settled with the court for $687 million, will pay a penalty of $90 million.
HE WAS CHARGED OF AIDING ARMED GROUPS
Lafarge was accused of transferring 13m euros to some armed groups, including Daesh militants, operating in Syria between 2011 and 2015.
CHANGED NAME
Lafarge, one of the world's largest cement producers, merged with its Swiss rival after the accusations against it and took the name "LafargeHolcim". In 2021, "Lafarge" was completely dropped from the company's name and its new name was "Holcim Ltd".
